Doc Rossi is the foremost expert on English guitar also known as a Cetra. He has performed throughout the United States, Canada and Europe, solo and with numerous groups, performing repertoires ranging from ancient music to Hawaiian slack-key guitar, from Irish music to the traditional music of North America. He plays all manner of citterns and bouzoukis and creates bridges between traditional and classical music. His high-flying solo recital gives pride to these cross-overs and includes works by Johann Christian Bach, Rudolf Straube, Pasqualini Demarzi, Giovanni Battista Marella, Antonio da Silva Liete, James Oswald, Frederick Schumann, Cornelius Lyons and traditional themes from Ireland, North America and Scotland.
