This is about the country and the people who inhabit it. The two go hand in hand. The way the country exists, its shapes, colours, lights and climate affect how people are, their way of feeling things and expressing them. It is about their feelings and their privacy. It is above all about singing them. Leaving aside the archetype of Auvergne music - dance music - this show highlights the songs of everyday life, those that can be sung for oneself or for any relatives. It is also talking about the language of the country : a little French and a lot of the beautiful language of Oc, it too shaped by the forms and colours of the landscape. They are supported and shared by the voice of Andre Ricros and Alain Gibert in a recital of songs mixing the traditional repertoire of Auvergne and compositions of the two men. The choice of instruments - trombone, cello, clarinet associated with bagpipes and Pinet - like the arrangements of Alain Gibert, give a specific colour that is soft and elegant. It is designed to showcase the beauty of the songs. The musical concept places itself at the crossroads of traditional music, classical music and contemporary music, in the warm and intimate configuration of a chamber music recital.
